  • I am finally getting to updating the 2016 Reunion Wrap-up information.  It will still take me several days to work my way through everything, so check back every now-and-then for updates.
  • I will be putting up some very, VERY early information about the 2018 Reunion, to be held in Jacksonville, Florida again a bit later, once we've defined the actual dates.  Three possible date ranges were decided on at the Crew Meeting and the Executive Council will make the final decision in a few weeks.  Currently it appears that the May 3 - 6, 2018 dates are in the lead.
  • I've updated the Ship's Store page with some information on the flag billed hat availablity and about a special sale on the limited ship models I have available.

  • Finally managed to scan 2 cruisebooks and get them posted on the site.  The first is the 1963-1964 Med Cruise and the second is the 1983-1984 Med Cruise.  You can find them on the Cruise Book page.
  • Posted the winners of the 5-day free Jr. Suite and free upgrade to a Jr. Suite at the DoubleTree hotel.  You can find them on the 2016 Reunion page.

  • Sadly added James B. Ricketts, son of Admiral Claude V. Ricketts to the Family Taps page.  Jim passed away on March 23.  We were fortunate to have him and his wife attend our 2010 Reunion Dinner in Norfolk and to have him attend the July 28, 2014 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the renaming of our ship to Claude V. Ricketts. You can see his obituary here.

  • Updated The Crew Roster to show if a registered shipmate has passed away.  The background is dark turquoise in color and a new column has been added.  If you know of a  registered shipmate who has died and is not indicated, please contact me.

  • I added links to the updates for 2014 and 2015 if you're interested.  You can get to them by clicking the links just about. If you haven't visited the site lately, I would suggest you take a look at the last few site changes for 2015.
  • I've added a link to an Amazon E-book by QM3 Clem Dominquez (6/64 - 4/66) about his experiences on board the ship.  You can find the link on the External Purchases page.
